Progress in the studies on transplantation tolerance induced by gene modified immature dendritic cells

Inanature dendritic cells (iDC) have limited competece to induce allograft transplantation tolerance.They receive the mature signal from the complicated microenvironment in vivo and develop into mature dendriticcells. While modified by single gene, iDC can induce all graft transplantation tolerance to some extend. Whilemodified by selected combination of different genes, iDC can significantly enhance atl ograft transplantation tol-erance. Key words: Dendritic cell;  Immune tolerance;  Transplant;  Gene
