Krytyka niemieckiej inteligencji (1919) (przeł. J. Pabian)
2007
Hugo Ball’s essay Zur Kritik der Deutschen Intelligenz , dedicated to the “leaders of the moral revolution” and finished in 1918, shows a certain intellectual continuity in the German political thought that develops consistently towards a vision of Great Germany. Ball formulates a strong accusation against such a grandiose concept of the German state, stating that “it is the German idea of the state that ruined the German spirit”.
