A wavefront control type compact silicon wavelength selective switch

We designed a 200-GHz spacing, 20-ch, 1×4 wavefront control type Si wavelength selective switch. The device size was only 5070×4032 μm 2 . The configuration has no waveguide crossings regardless of the number of output ports and wavelength channels, which is a very important feature in silicon wire waveguide-based optical devices.
