Kinematic Accuracy Analysis of High Precision Adjusting Mechanism of Blade Rolling Mill

In order to achieve precise adjustment of roller displacement of blade rolling mill,transmission equations motion error of transmission components considering the stiffness of worm gear,silk pole,skew plate were established. Contact stiffness of transmission mechanism and the effect of initial preloading of roller on motion accuracy were researched. The simulation results were verified by experiment. The results show that: when initial installed preloading of roller is equal to 0 mm,transmission stiffness of components and shifting resistance have great influence on kinematic accuracy of roller. when initial installed preloading of roller is more than 0. 04 mm.,kinematic accuracy of roller will be improved,but increaseing wear between roller and skew plate. Combined the engineering field,the best initial installed preloading is 0. 04 mm.
