The invention discloses a method for waveform adjustment in a GIS field oscillation type impact voltage resistance test. The method comprises steps that: a capacitance value of a tested GIS is calculated; parameter values of a test waveform are determined; test loop parameters are calculated according to the capacitance value of the tested GIS and the needed parameter values of the test waveform; a test line is erected according to the calculated test loop parameters; and, the oscillation type impact voltage resistance test on the GIS is carried out according to the erected test line. According to the method and the system for waveform adjustment in the GIS field oscillation type impact voltage resistance test, the parameter values of the test waveform can be grasped before a formal high voltage test, so blindness of the test is avoided; calculation on the test loop parameters is carried out employing a value calculation method, properties of high calculation precision and convenient operation are realized; and the waveform adjustment system has advantages of simple operation and convenient field enforcement.
