Abstract GERI-BP001, a new inhibitor (IC 50 50μM) of acyl-CoA: cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT), was isolated from a culture broth of Aspergillus fumigatus F37 and the structure elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data.
