Measurements of low frequency and high frequency relative intensity noise in DBR lasers

1991
The relative intensity noise in DBR lasers has been measured as a function of the grating current in both the low frequency and high frequency regimes. With increasing grating current, large increases were only observed in the low frequency intensity noise ( 2 GHz) was observed to be independent of the grating current
