Use of (a) uridine or uridine source and (b) choline or choline salt in the manufacture of a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of memory loss and cognitive dysfunction associated with Alzheimer's disease in a human , causing said uridine increased systemic and brain cytidine the said human, wherein said pharmaceutical composition is administered orally.
