Cómo conjugar el derecho al olvido

espanolEl presente trabajo pretende analizar la posible conjugacion del derecho al olvido ante la eternidad de la informacion disponible en Internet pues en la sociedad de la informacion almacenar informacion es muy barato y borrarla requiere mucho tiempo y dinero. Consecuencia de ello, es necesario articular derechos, como es el del olvido, que permitan a la ciudadania borrar, bloquear o eliminar su informacion personal que se encuentra globalmente disponible en Internet y que de alguna forma afecta al libre desarrollo de algunos de sus derechos fundamentales, como puede ser el honor y la intimidad o la proteccion de datos. Pero advirtiendo que una erronea conjugacion tambien puede lesionar otros derechos fundamentales como pueden ser los de libertad de expresion y de informacion. EnglishThe present work aims to analyse the possible conjunction between the right to oblivion and the endless information available on the internet. Thus, the fact of storing information in the so-called “Information Society” is inexpensive but both time and money are required to delete it. As a consequence, it is necessary to articulate rights, such as the right to oblivion, which allow citizens to delete or block their personal data available on the internet, taking into account that this information may affect in some way the free development of some fundamental rights, as it may be honour, privacy and data protection. But it has to be noticed that a wrong conjunction can also infringe other fundamental rights, such as freedom of speech and freedom of information.
