Simulation Toolbox for DC Motor Control Systems

Abstract A Toolbox for helping in the design and simulation of systems which involve DC-motors is presented. The Toolbox is composed by a set of blocks that can almost be connected like the physical objects. This approach can reduce the time and costs involved, when it is used by an engineer who is not a simulation specialist. Also, if it is not needed a detailed description of the motors and other elements, it is useful for teaching purposes and testing of control strategies.
