Elastoplastic boundary element analysis with Hetenyi's fundamental solution

Abstract Hetenyi's solution is employed as the fundamental solution of BEM in the paper for the elastoplastic analysis of two-dimensional bimaterial with straight interface. The elastoplastic boundary integral equation with Hetenyi's solution is derived for the first time and the numerical integration technique is discussed. Various numerical results of elastoplastic analysis of the bimaterial plate with an elliptic hole are obtained. It is confirmed that the present method is very useful for the elastoplastic problems of bimaterial.
