THE “WEEKEND EFFECT” IN HEART FAILURE ADMISSIONS

Some studies have shown that patients admitted for heart failure (HF) on a weekend experience adverse outcomes compared to those admitted on a weekday. However, there is a lack of large, nationally representative studies to support this association. We queried the 2013-14 National Inpatient Sample
