Technology Acceptance towards Utilization of Decision Support Systems in Developing Countries: Based Modeling Analysis

The success of systems such as the Decision Support is determined and influenced by a wide range of factors based on their adoption technique as well as application areas. This research aimed at utilizing data collected to identify and examine a set of factors that influence technology acceptance towards utilization of decision support systems in developing countries. A questionnaire was designed and distributed to a sample of 192 respondents in the Libyan ministry of high education and selected universities and higher education institutions. The survey aimed at rating the impact of perceived usefulness, top management Support and user training that influence technology acceptance towards utilization of decision support systems . The data gathered was then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling SEM. This study found that there are significant relationships between a set of factors influencing the technology acceptance and usage in developing countries. This research provided an understanding of the role, applicability and adoption of technology in explaining the extent of technology acceptance and usage towards the utilization of decision support systems and provided valuable insights into the knowledge gap in understanding technology adoption, particularly in developing countries.
