2018
After the Industrial Revolution, work ceases to be just to meet basic needs and becomes the prime point in a man’s life, with which he spends most of his life in his workplace, using his strength, energy, and efforts for the benefit of organizations. In order to conserve the workforce of the employees, several studies have appeared in the area of Quality of Life at Work (QTV). This academic work aims to analyze, through a structured questionnaire generated from the adaptation of Walton’s model (1973), which are the most important factors in promoting a good level of quality of life in Olinda City Hall. For the evaluation of the data, the theoretical research was carried out based on the literature on the subject and an empirical one. Data from 55 questionnaires were collected at the Olinda City Hall. We found 3 factors, work material, environmental cleanup and job plan that were considered critical. It is concluded that the factors influencing the QVT of the institution are evaluated between very important and extremely important and that the servers have a level of satisfaction between very satisfied and satisfied with the same items. This is a positive scenario, only needing to stop those factors considered critical. In this way, it was tried to expose possible causes and suggestions with the objective of improving the QLT levels of the researched ones.
