LAS REPRESENTACIONES SOCIALES Y LOS DISPOSITIVOS DE INTERVENCIÓN EN DROGAS EN EL ÁMBITO SANITARIO

El objetivo de este trabajo es describir los dispositivos de intervencion del ambito sanitario destinados a consumidores de drogas, asi como las representaciones sociales de los profesionales que trabajan en ellos acerca de los usuarios de drogas. Se presentan resultados preliminares a partir del analisis de 15 entrevistas abiertas con guia de pautas y un grupo de discusion realizado con profesionales del ambito sanitario que trabajan con poblaciones urbanas pobres en el Area Metropolitana de Buenos Aires. Se desarrollan dos lineas de sentido de las representaciones sociales acerca de los usuarios de drogas, por medio de las cuales se los identifica por un lado como delincuentes y por otro como enfermos; produciendo y reproduciendo procesos de normativizacion y estigmatizacion de los consumidores de drogas. Los dispositivos de intervencion se enmarcan en la fragmentacion propia del campo de la salud mental, aunque puede identificarse una logica especifica vinculada con la construccion del problema drogas. El proposito de la investigacion es aportar al conocimientointerdisciplinariodelaspracticasdeusoylosdispositivos de intervencion, a fin de contribuir al desarrollo de estrategias de prevencion en diversos conjuntos sociales pobres. Palabras clave Uso Drogas Dispositivos Intervencion ABSTRACT THE SOCIAL REPRESENTATIONS AND THE DEVICES OF INTERVENTION ON DRUGS IN THE SANITARY AREA The aim of the present paper is to describe the devices of intervention of the sanitary area for drug users, as well as the social representations of the professionals who work with them. Preliminary results from the analysis of 15 non structured interviews with guidelines, and a group of discussion involving professionals of the sanitary area who work with poor urban populations in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires. Two lines of sense of the social representations about drug users are developed, through which they are identified on the one side, as criminals; and, on the other hand, as patients; producing andreproducingprocessof"normativizacion"andstigmatization on those people. The intervention devices are framed in the fragmentation belonging to mental health field; although a specific logic can be identified along with the construction of drugs problem. The aim of the investigation is to contribute to interdisciplinary knowledge about the use practices and the devices of intervention, in order to help the development of preventive strategies in various poor social groups.
