Modelización energética del parque edificado a escala urbana: encuestas como complemento a los datos catastrales en la fase de caracterización

2021
INTRODUCTION. The lack of detailed information on the properties that affect the energy performance of buildings is one of the main obstacles of the building stock models. This lack of data is one of the reasons why these models can present a significant gap between the energy consumption estimated by the models and the real energy consumption, which can reduce their reliability. OBJECTIVE. This paper presents a case study in which part of the unavailable information of the buildings has been collected with the aim of reducing the gap between the results of the simulations and the real consumption. METHOD. A survey was designed to collect the information necessary to generate a building stock model in the parish of Escaldes-Engordany in the Principality of Andorra. RESULTS. The results show that surveys have a great potential to complete the existing information related to buildings. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS. Despite its potential, the collection of information through surveys also has certain particularities that can significantly vary the results obtained from them.
