A bank is a financial institution that collects and lends money, and ATMs is one of the oft-used applied technology/machine that is attractive to potential criminals. This chapter addresses the mechanical nature of ATMs and then discusses an array of ATM attacks, ranging from those occurred in the physical space to cyberspace. Chapter Two ends with a discussion of different approaches that cyber criminals can theoretically hack into an ATM.
