Based on Porter's diamond model,the paper analyzes the automobile industry clusters in Chongqing from six aspects: production factors,demand qualifications,relevant and supporting industries,structure and competition,opportunities and government.The paper studies the current situation and exiting problems of automobile industry in Chongqing,and proposes countermeasures accordingly from government and enterprises' point of view,which might provide reference to the development of automobile industry clusters in other regions,
