Method for committing distributed database transaction

1996
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the use of a network to be a minimum by receiving a suitable message, and writing a committing state on a transaction into a stable storage device after a close message is received. SOLUTION: At the time of generating the close message 125-2c, an interval person concerned (IP) 115 notices that a counting transfer transaction can be committed and adds a committing request noticing the transaction to be suitable for committing to the close message 125-2c. When an interval coordinator (IC) 110 receives the close message 125-2c, it decides that the counting transfer transaction is suitable for committing and compares the list of IP sending the close message to the interval with the list of the person concerning the transaction. When the counting transfer transaction is marked in a volatile memory as committed one when IP on a coserver sends the close message.
