global system radiolocation and radionavigation space, beacon and receiver used in such a system

1995
A global radio navigation and radiolocation system including a ground sector comprising: a global ground beacon network (RBS) transmitting a spread-spectrum uplink radio signal to user satellites; a mission control centre (CMC) which develops work plans for some user satellites and transmits them when said satellites pass over the master beacons; a processing centre (CT) which receives the telemetric data filed by the mission control centre (CMC) and separates it into telemetric data needed for processing specific to the processing centre (CT), and telemetric data specific to certain customers of the services provided by the system; a space sector consisting of master satellites (SM) closely involved in the operation of the system, as well as customer satellites; and a user sector consisting of customer beacons and stationary or mobile customer receivers.
