The old wording referring to the ‘‘lowest T-score’’ had not yet been modified and highlights the challenges of modifying computer-generated reports. Nonetheless, we do not believe the analysis of the comparisons between the 2 reports would have been affected by this error. In response to the concern that the report in Appendix 1 does not conform to the recommended Canadian Association of Radiologists’ (CAR) standards for bone mineral density reporting, this study, including the report that was used, was designed and conducted before the publication of the CAR standards in 2013. Should a subsequent study be conducted, the CAR standards will be taken into account.
