The invention discloses an intelligent terminal and an operation method thereof, relates to the technical field of communication, and solves the problems that an existing intelligent terminal determines time of executing a first operation according to absolute time, user requirements cannot be met, and user experience is reduced. The method can include the steps: acquiring human body characteristic parameters by the intelligent terminal; judging whether the human body characteristic parameters meet a preset condition or not to obtain a first judgment result; executing a first corresponding operation after corresponding time intervals according to the human body characteristic parameters and a preset trigger event associated with the human body characteristic parameters if the first judgment result indicates that the human body characteristic parameters meet the preset condition. The trigger event comprises corresponding time interval parameters and first operation information, and the corresponding time intervals begin to be calculated after the first judgment result is obtained. The operation method can be applied to operation of the intelligent terminal.
