The Magnetic Properties of Paramagnetic Neodymium Trifluoride in High Magnetic Field

The magnetic properties of the paramagnetic neodymium trifluoride NdF_3 in high magnetic field were theoretically calculated. According to the theoretical analysis, the molecular field coefficient υ of the paramagnetic NdF_3 must be less than zero. The magnetic susceptibility χ will acutely change with the increasing of the temperature in a certain region of TT_N, meanwhile, extraordinary changes of the magnetic sublattice structure happen. There is a good agreement between the theory and experimental results.
