Dielectric Properties of Composites Based on Polyvinyl Alcohol with Ferroelectric Inclusions

2015
The results of dielectric measurements for composites based on polyvinyl alcohol with ferroelectric inclusions are presented. The maxima shift in the temperature dependence of the capacitance at high temperatures compared to the bulk crystals is shown. Capacitance increase is observed in all the composites as compared with bulk materials. The study of emission properties of the composite polyvinyl alcoholsodium nitrite revealed emission activity for all samples. The studies point to possibility of creating a ferroelectric state in the polymer-based composites with ferroelectric inclusions and maintaining this state to temperatures tens of degrees above the Curie temperature of bulk samples.
