Two new P-coumaroyl flavonoid glycosides having Cytokine increasing activity from Centaurium spicatum L

2016
Abstract Two new P -coumaroyl flavonol glycosides, Kaempferol 3- O -[β-D-glucopyranosyl- (1 ⿿ 4)-α- l -rhamnopyranosyl-(1 ⿿ 4)-α- l -rhamnopyranosyl-(1 ⿿ 6)-(4 trans- P -coumaroyl)]-β-D- galactopyranoside ( 1 ) and Quercetin 3- O -[β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 ⿿ 4)-α- l -rhamnopyranosyl-(1 ⿿ 4)-α- l -rhamnopyranosyl-(1 ⿿ 6)-(4 trans- P -coumaroyl)]-β-D-galactopyranoside (2 ) were isolated from the aerial part of Centaurium spicatum (L.) Fritsch ( Gentianaceae ). Structure elucidation of the new compounds was established on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR analyses including 1 H, 13 C NMR, DEPT-135 NMR, H H COSY, HMQC and HMBC experiments. In addition to HRFAB Mass Spectrometry. Also it is noted that these new compounds significantly increase both TNF-α and IL-1β after 48 h of treatment (this level of increase of cytokines (300/200) activates the cytokines like vaccines towards invasion of microorganisms).
