Modeling of Dynamic Behavior of a Spur Gear

The purpose to optimize gears requires a very good understanding of their dynamic behavior. Very important is the influence of vibrations on the operation of the gears. In this paper it is proposed a theoretical approach to vibration behavior of gears using a mathematical model with linear behavior, a model that allowed the application of a modern calculation method, such as the use of integral transformations.
