Affinity Separation of Protein by Gel-Matrix Membrane

ISEC 1990 Distribution of a protein between an affinity membrane and an aqueous phase was investigated using agarose gel-matrix containing immobilized Cibacron Blue 3G-A. Alcohol dehydrogenase was distributed in an affinity membrane of various gel concentrations, containing immobilized ligand. The distribution equilibrium depended on the pH in the aqueous phase. The effective ligand concentration was obtained for various gel concentrations.
