Yellow disperse dyes mixed crystal

2014
The invention relates to a yellow mixed crystal type disperse dye which is suitable for dyeing or printing terylene and blend fibers thereof. The yellow mixed crystal disperse dye is prepared from 2-methyl-3-hydroxyquinoline or/and a mixture of 2-methyl-3-hydroxyquinoline-4-carboxylic acid and 2-methylquinoline as well as excessive phthalic anhydride, which are kept at 190-220 DEG C for 6-9 hours in an organic solvent of which the boiling point is higher than 220 DEG C in the presence of a catalyst, wherein the catalyst is anhydrous zinc chloride or anhydrous aluminum trichloride. The yellow mixed crystal type disperse dye provided by the invention can be used for successfully solving the problems that C.I. disperse yellow 54 is high in price and yellow SYJ is poor in dyeing property in the prior art.
