[Objective] To identify and evaluate the possible occupational hazard factors in 950, 000 ton/year coking project of a coking limited company, put forward relevant protection countermeasure and management measure, so as to ensure the health of workers. [Methods] The project similar to this project was selected as the analogy project, and the evaluation was carried out with the analogy investigation method and the check list method. [Results] The site location, general layout, lighting and illumination, hygienic auxiliary facility of this project accorded with national regulation. The project had perfect protective faciliy for occupational disease and management measures. The possible occupational hazard factors in the production process are hydrogen sulfide, carbon disulfide, hydrogen cyanide, benzene, ammonia, carbon monoxide, coke oven emissions and nitrogen dioxide, and the project is a serious occupational hazards project. [Conclusion] The possible occupational hazards in the production process of the project can be prevented. From the view of occupational health, this project is feasible.
