ABSTRACT The essential oil of Sideritis raeseri ssp. raeseri, an endemic subspecies that occurs from Mt. Parnassos and northwards, was studied by GC and GC/MS. Thirty-six compounds were identified. Camphor (14.90%) and 1,8-cineole (11.61%) were found to be the major components.
