Outer rotor permanent magnet motor for ceiling type fan

2008
The invention relates to an outer rotor permanent magnet synchronous motor for a ceiling fan, which comprises a rotating shaft, a stator, a rotor and an electrical controlling device. The stator is sleeved on the rotating shaft, the rotor is sleeved on the outer side of the stator; the shaft of the rotor is installed on the rotating shaft though a bearing; the stator and the rotor have the same number of poles; the rotor is a permanent magnet pole, and the N, S poles thereof are alternately distributed; the stator is a salient pole with coils wound thereon, and the adjacent coils are in positive and negative winding directions to form an alternate magnetic poles; the stator is provided with two windings: a working winding and a starting winding, wherein the working winding is made of coils in the stator pole which are positive-negative connectedly wound and each coil affects the whole magnetic pole, and the starting winding is made of coils in the stator pole which are positive-negative connectedly wound and each coil affects part of the magnetic pole; and the coils of the working winding and the starting winding are connected with the electrical controlling device. The starting winding of the invention acts on part of the magnetic field of the stator magnetic pole to form a directional operation, and the directional starting can achieve 100 percent, thereby greatly improving the starting quality and enlarging the application range of the single phrase permanent magnet synchronous motor.
