The invention discloses an evaluation method for the impact resistance of an anti-collision guardrail plate of a road. The evaluation method comprises the following steps: (1) installing the guardrail plate; (2) installing a drop hammer; (3) determining the mass m of the drop hammer; (4) determining the height H1 of the drop hammer; and (5) lifting the drop hammer to the height H1, freely falling, measuring the deformation H2 of the guardrail plate, wherein the H2 is the concave depth of the collided part of the guardrail plate; and recording the damaged state of the guardrail plate. The evaluation method disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the impact action of collision of a vehicle on the guardrail plate is simulated, and the impact action received by the guardrail plate in the test process is same as that of the real-car collision test; compared with the real-car collision test, the evaluation method is simple and easy to implement, and can save a large amount of labor, materials and cost.
