The effects of KiWi juice on #beta#-adrenergic receptor of old-rat liver

Ten 15-month-aged rats were treated with KiWi juice for 5 months, and ten rats of the same age without KiWi treatment were as control. The #beta#-adrenergic receptor density, the affinity and MDA content of the rat liver were measured. The #beta#-adrenergic receptor density of the rat liver cell membrane had no change, but the affinity significantly increased and the levels of MDA in the membrane and cytoplasm of the liver cell tended to decrease.
