Emission probability of the weak positron branch in the decay of 22Na to the ground state of 22Ne

Abstract The emission probability of the weak positron branch in the decay of 22 Na to the ground state of 22 Ne has been determined to be 0.0007 ± 0.0002. This value was obtained from an analysis of the transmission curve measured by a positron sensitive detection system with two BGO scintillation detectors.
