Eficacia de Bacillus subtilis en el control de Oídio en vid cv. Red Globe en el valle de Cañete, Lima, Perú

2021
Objectives: To evaluate the efficacy of Bacillus subtilis in the control of oidium in table grapes cv. Red Globe in the Canete valley, Lima. Methodology: The research was carried out between the months of september 2018 to may 2019 in Los Juncos, Canete valley, Lima, Peru. A randomized complete block design with four treatments and four replications was used. The treatments were: a) Control; b) 200 mL ha-1 Serenade (Bacillus subtilis, strain QST 713); c) 300 mL ha-1 Serenade; and 300 gr ha-1 Nativo 75WP (Trifloxystrobin + Tebuconazole). The experimental unit was 54 m2 with three 5-year-old plants cv. Red globe. The severity and incidence of the disease and the percentage of efficacy in leaves and bunches were evaluated. Results: The treatment with the lowest incidence and severity index and the highest percentage of efficacy in the control of the disease in leaves and bunches was 300 mL ha-1 of Serenade, significantly (P<0.05) surpassing the other treatments. Conclusion: The application of 300 mL ha-1 of Serenade in leaves and clusters, reduced the incidence and severity index of the disease, as well as a higher percentage of efficacy.
