Tobacco leaf grading method

2014
A tobacco leaf grading method includes the following steps: (1) creation of a tobacco leaf grading standard database; (2) grading of tobacco leaves. The grading method adopted by the invention can quickly and effectively grade tobacco leaves, decrease labor intensity, reduce labor cost and increase grading precision and grading quality. Because the standard tobacco leaf feature database is created in grading, the feature data of tobacco leaves can be conveniently compared, so that the grades of tobacco leaves can be determined. Because the Visual C++6.0 technique is used, a programming software program can be effectively utilized to analyze and identify the individual features of tobacco leaves, so that tobacco leaves can be graded. Because the OPENCV function library is called in Visual C++6.0 programming, the complexity of the program is decreased, the running speed of the program is increased, and thereby the tobacco leaf grading speed is increased. In addition, the adoption of the sequential comparison method decreases the probability of errors in grading and increases the precision and accuracy of grading.
