B2 External and Internal Angular Dermoid Cyst

The soft tissues of the face are formed by the fusion of the frontal, maxillary and mandibular processes. Dermoid cysts occur when skin elements become trapped along lines of embryological closure. The external angle of the supraorbital ridge is the most common site of occurrence (Fig. 1).
