: A surgical procedure for the repair of large vesico-vaginal fistulae following total abdominal hysterectomy is presented. Once it has been exposed through suprapubic extraperitoneal, extravesical separation and mobilisation, the bladder lends itself to fully independent closure, as in resection of any part of its wall for other reasons.
