Entorno familiar de personas con discapacidad: una intervención desde el Trabajo Social

People with disabilities represent the struggle between inclusion and social justice based on the support they have for their families, therefore the objective of this research was to determine the incidence of Social Work intervention in the family environment of people with disabilities. A descriptive methodology was used, supported by a qualitative approach; used the bibliographic, analytical, inductive-deductive method, the interview technique was used, with the interview guide instrument which was applied to the Social Worker of the Department of Human Talent and relatives of workers with disabilities of the Technical University of Manabi, Matrix Portoviejo. The emotional aspect is very important because if the family and the person with disabilities are emotionally well, it will allow them to carry out their daily activities normally without any affectation or imbalances, as a conclusion in the investigation it was evidenced that the intervention of the Social Worker in the family environment of people with disabilities contributes to the dynamics of the family, assigning these responsibilities to the accompaniment and care when they present problems in their state of health.
