The Full Model

All the work that has been done in the five preceding chapters was preliminary with respect to the major aim of our study, which is to investigate the realizabil­ity of socioeconomic and political desiderata in a highly industrialized society. This last chapter will be devoted to a discussion of the results of various simula­tions based on the complete 22-sector model, our tool of analysis. In the next five sections we shall examine in some detail the behaviour of the system in order to distill some general principles, which will be discussed in Section 6.7. In addition we hope that some of the results of the simulations will be of practical interest.
