Electroreflectance of silver

The electroreflectance spectra of Ag have been investigated in the range (3÷4) eV wliith the aid of electrolytes of different kinds and strengths and by varying the magnitude of the d.c. voltage. The observed peak at 3.9 eV does not seem to shift significantly with the applied electric field, while the positions of the other two are shifted toward greater energies as the applied d.c. voltage increases.
