Preparation of ZrO_2 Ultrafine Powder by Rapid Themolysis Approach with Peptizated-gel

Rapid themolysis approach with peptizated-gel is employed to prepare ZrO 2 ultrafine powder, and the effects of preparation parameters on the gelation time and the properties of powders are well investigated. The results indicate that the gelation time depended on both the urea amount and gelation temperature,while the themolysis temperature, peptizer amount, gelation temperature and solution composistion show the effects at various degrees on the morphology, BET surface area, pore distribution and particle size of powders.
