1‐Aminothiaalkanephosphonic acids and their sulfinyl and sulfonyl derivatives: Synthesis and acidic properties

Several 1-aminothialkanephosphonic acids 2 were synthesized and selectively oxidized to their sulfinyl 3 and sulfonyl 4 derivatives. For the compounds 2, 3, and 4, their dissociation properties were determined potentiometrically.
