Analysis of Modern Attacks with Detection and Prevention Techniques

This paper focuses the analysis of the latest attacks in the recent years. In the last few years, as the use of Internet become common, the attacks on the Internet have also been increased so rapidly. Many types of malwares, Trojan horses and viruses have been introduced by the attackers to damage the victims' information and extract their information for illegal use. Distributed Denial of Service attack and service query lenguage Injection attack are the two biggest concerns of the security professionals. To prevent them, many antiviruses, firewall, etc. have been introduced that have the strong resistance against viruses and malware. Several countermeasures are introduced which must be followed to prevent the data from malicious attacks. In this paper we highlight the major attacks with their reasons and their countermeasures. We discuss the types of Distributed Denial of Service attacks and service query language injection and will follow some preventing techniques.
