Ferromagnetic Kondo Lattice CeRuSi 2 with NonFermiLiquid Behavior 1

The structure, electronic, thermodynamic, and magnetic properties of the CeRuSi2 Kondo lattice with ferromagnetic ordering characterized by a small moment of the ground state are investigated. Anomalies in the temperature dependences of heat capacity and resistivity (unusual power or logarithmic behavior) observed in the lowtemperature range indicate a nonFermiliquid behavior. The results are compared with those for other CelRunXm compounds and anomalous systems based on rareearth elements and actinides that had been studied earlier.
