Chronic Renal Failure (CRF) and Lipidemic Parameters

1991
Hyperlipidemia has been recognized in patients with renal disease for over a cuntury (1). Plasma lactescence is the characteristic sign of hyperlipidemia which results from the accumulation of large lightscattering triglyceride-rich fat particles in some chronically uremic patients. Patients with CRF show frequently evident signs of atherosclerotic diseases.
