P-50: Cathodoluminescence in Powder Layers Compared to Y2O3: Eu Solid Thin Films

It is shown that the luminance in Y2O3: Eu powder layer is proportional to the power of the electron beam. This is different to our findings in thin films. Particularly there is no measurable earth current in the spherical phosphor particle screens.
