Separation of cathodoluminescence from transition radiation according to the de-excitation time

An installation is described which is designed for isolating the luminescence in experiments on the investigation of transition radiation. The separation is achieved by means of a time analysis of the light excited by electron pulses. The resolving time of the installation is 2-4 nsec.
