LATERAL PERİODONTAL KİST: NADİR BİR OLGU SUNUMU

OZET Lateral periodontal kist, dental lamina artiklarindan koken alan ve yetiskin gingival kistin kemik ici varyati oldugu dusunulen gelisimsel bir odontojenik kisttir. Bu lezyon karakteristik olarak surmus vital bir disin lateral kok yuzeyi boyunca ortaya cikmaktadir. Siklikla asemptomatiktir ve rutin radyolojik muayene sonucunda tespit edilebilmektedir.  Radyografik goruntusu genellikle iyi sinirli, yuvarlak veya oval radyolusent lezyon seklindedir. Cogunlukla mandibular premolar-kanin ve kesiciler bolgesinde, dislerin servikal marjinleri ile apeksleri arasinda lokalize olmustur. Lateral periodontal kistin ayirici tanisi ayni bolgede gorulebilen lateral radikuler kist, glandular odontojenik kist ve odontojenik keratokistik tumor ile yapilmalidir. Bu olgu sunumunda 40 yasinda erkek bireyde tespit edilen, mandibular premolar bolgede lokalize, lateral periodontal kistin tedavisi sunulmaktadir. ABSTRACT The lateral periodontal cyst is a developmental odontogenic cyst considered to be variator inside bone of the adults gingival cyst and derived from dental lamina residues. This lesion emerges along the surface of lateral roots of a vital tooth growing as characteristic. It is often asymptomatic and can be detected during routine radiological examinations. Radiographic image is usually in well, circumscribed, round or oval-shaped radiolucent lesion form. It is mostly localized between the apexes and cervical margins of the teeth in the mandibular canine and premolar-breakers zone. The distinguishing diagnosis of the lateral periodontal cyst should be done by way of lateral radicular cyst, glandular odontogenic cysts and odontogenic keratocyst tumors be able to seen in the same region. In the individual case study, treatment of lateral periodontal cyst  localized around the mandibular premolar region be able to detected on 40-year-old man is presented
