[Deadly brain injuries (author's transl)].

Among 503 deadly brain injuries 71% have been caused by traffic accidents. In 93 patients the brain injury was not the direct cause of death. Total observations included: 170 intracranial haemorrhages; 106 smashes of the skull and 104 contusions. In patients with subdural and epidural haematomas angiography and trepanation were used in few cases. Language: de
